Aman Kumar Singh

Aman Kumar Singh received his B.Tech.–M.Tech. dual degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Geoinformatics from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur). He is currently working on the development of a Smart Visual Docking Guidance System (SVDGS) integrating LiDAR, camera, and thermal sensing technologies under the mentorship of Prof. Bharat Lohani and Prof. Gaurav Pandey. He was awarded the MAY Award for Engineering Excellence for the academic year 2023–24 by the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Kanpur, and received it from Prof. Manindra Agrawal (Padma Shri, Director, IIT Kanpur). His research interests include LiDAR/Laser Scanning, Mobile Mapping Systems, Autonomous Vehicle Perception, and Digital Twins.
