Aman Kumar Singh

I am a final year B.Tech-M.Tech (dual degree) student in the Civil Engineering Department at IIT Kanpur, specializing in Geoinformatics. I am currently working with Dr. Bharat Lohani at IIT Kanpur and Dr. Gaurav Pandey at Texas A&M University on developing an advanced visual docking guidance system for aircraft. Previously, I worked on modeling motion distortions in mobile laser scanning of moving objects.

I am actively seeking Ph.D. positions abroad for Fall 2025 in areas such as laser scanning (LiDAR), photogrammetry, digital twins, remote sensing, autonomous navigation, intelligent transportation, indoor positioning systems, and localization, mapping, and SLAM.
