Aman Kumar Singh

I am a final-year B.Tech-M.Tech dual degree student in Civil Engineering at IIT Kanpur, specializing in Geoinformatics. I am currently developing an advanced visual docking guidance system for aircraft under the guidance of Prof. Bharat Lohani (IIT Kanpur) and Prof. Gaurav Pandey (Texas A&M University). Previously, I worked on deriving fundamental equations for point cloud distortions of moving objects in mobile laser scanning.

I am passionate about leveraging geospatial data, including LiDAR, GIS, photogrammetry, and remote sensing, to address real-world challenges. My interests span geoinformatics, urban informatics, autonomous systems, and environmental applications. I focus on 3D modeling, visualization, localization, mapping, and navigation, while remaining open to exploring new and interdisciplinary areas where these technologies can drive innovative solutions.
